Too much to say

I am an upcoming senior in high school and I'm rooted at Bloomington, IN, US of A. Since May 23 (or May 25, if you don't count how friggin' long it took traveling) I've been back in Taiwan, where I'd spent the most sufferable but truly educational 10 years of my life from age 3 to 13. Ah, those were the golden years.

American kids have no idea how lucky they are in their air-conditioned classrooms and their "beating your students is WRONG" society.

The only memories I can still recollect from my experience in Elementary School was being hit in the hands with a stick by my hormonal pregnent teacher for getting a 99% on an exam and being the mopper when we were forced to clean the classroom and other areas of the school every single morning. Of course, I perfected my math skills, just like any other Taiwanese kid who has a dream of actually having a future in this test-score-obsessed society. However, with my past 3 years of my life in an American High School and a complete lack of education the school has provided, it is unfortunate but true to say that my math is now below standards and my SAT scores are depressing, to say the least.

But enough about that stuff (if I don't stop now, you'll be reading a book), I'm creating this blog because I have just too much to say. I've had a life where my left foot is tied onto the great country of America, my other leg tied onto the polluted but awesome island of Taiwan. (and I guess my crotch is somewhere around the Hawaiian region.) Everyday I find out something about myself and something new about both of these completely opposite cultures. It's kind of scary how endless the universe truly is, especially when you don't restrict yourself to the tiny close-minded communities that lays the foundation to our world today.
